About the Kensico 5K run/Walk to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association of Hudson Valley

Posted on Updated on

Despite the weather, the Kensico 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, October 29 was a wonderful event attended by over 125 runners, walkers, volunteers, and guests.

We are still calculating our final tally of funds raised to benefit the Alzheimer’s Assocation of Hudson Valley, but it looks like we will reach (and maybe top) our goal of $20,000 this year!

The Alzheimer’s Association is the world leader in Alzheimer’s research and support. It is the nation’s oldest and largest voluntary health organization dedicated to advancing research for the prevention, cure and treatment of Alzheimer’s disease and to providing expert support and assistance to millions of afflicted Americans and their families. The Hudson Valley Chapter carries out the Association’s mission in  Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster and Westchester Counties.
